Arm Lift
If you have sagging skin under your upper arms from weight loss, genetics, or aging, schedule a consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your arm lift options.
An arm lift can help give your upper arms a more toned look by removing excess skin and fat.
We can perform an arm lift to enhance the look of your upper arms and increase your confidence!
An arm lift procedure, also known as brachioplasty, involves your surgeon making an incision from your arm pit area to the inside of your arm. We will cut away the excess skin and put the remaining skin in place using sutures. Although it will be on a part of your arm that is not as visible, it is important to know that there will be a permanent scar with this procedure. It will get lighter and smoother over time, but there will always be a scar.
Liposuction may need to be performed if you're just looking to remove excess fat from the upper arm.
An arm lift usually takes about 3 1/2 to 4 hours and can be performed under general anesthesia. The recovery period for arm lift surgery is anywhere from two to four weeks.
