Breast Lift

Women whose breasts have lost their shape and elasticity over time may want to look into a breast lift. Lincoln Surgical's plastic surgeon can help you decide if this surgery is right for you.

A breast lift involves removing excess skin and reshaping the remaining tissue to firm and lift the breasts.

We will take a number of issues into consideration when it comes to your breast lift: size/shape of breasts, size and placement of areolas, how much your breasts sag, skin elasticity, and amount of extra skin.

During the breast lift procedure, your surgeon will get rid of excess skin, reshape the breast tissue, and move the nipple/areola to a more asthetically pleasing place on the breast. We will then close the incisions and cover them with gauze. For the first couple of weeks after the surgery, you will need to wear surgical bra.

A breast lift procedure is typically performed under general anesthesia and takes around two to four hours. You will most likely need to rest one to two weeks after a breast lift, and the total recovery time can take up to six weeks.
