Facial Skin Cancer
Dr. Wade Kubat, plastic and reconstructive surgeon, discusses facial skin cancer surgery.
Our experienced plastic surgeon can help with cancers on the nose, cheek, forehead, or close to the eye.
How can you help patients with skin cancer on the face?
I've had a significant history of doing flap reconstructions for nasal skin cancers, cancers on the cheek, and forehead. These can be completed in the office or in the hospital setting with the use of sedation. With individuals who have skin cancers of the eyelid or close to the eye, it might be more difficult to have surgery performed in the office, but we're able to provide sedation in the hospital setting to complete that more comfortably.
